More collateral damage in iraq

5-7-04

Hello, it’s been some time since updated this site and i must say this: DO THESE PICTURES MAKE YOU F**KING PROUD OF THE WAR IN IRAQ? I think we (the USA) have quite possibly surpassed Saddam Hussein in methods of mass torture of the Iraqi people. Are you still happy about the way the war is going, are you pleased with the fabrication of facts about WMDs?

And yes i do have family members that are stuck in the middle east... why is imperialism and globalism more important to the Leaders of the country then the lives of our troops? Our troops should serve to defend America and not be forced to fight bullshit wars and be involved in unjust invasions.

this war will bring more war and hate. not freedom

Families are being ripped apart daily by this unjust assault on humanity called “operation Iraqi freedom”. it’s sick to hear people saying things like “we should just kill them all” or “all the ragheads are terrorists if we kill them when they are kids, then we’ll all be safer” and just like the Redneck Toby Keith's song : “Cause we'll put a boot in your ass, It's the American way.” the ignorance shines through the music. but the inbred, fat, trailerpark armchair commandos rarely get to see what their lust for war does to the poor children who are being murdered by a occupying force. it’s depressing to think about our troops and the hell they must be going though risking their lives every day to conquer country, not because it posed a threat to America. but for it’s resources.

How can anyone be mad at the Iraqis for attacking the troops that occupy their land? They have poor water, no sewage treatment, hospitals are unusable, little food, unreliable electricity, they are afraid they will get shot if they go out at night. Now, troops are barging into their homes, uninvited to search for weapons. It is pure hell over there all thanks to Bush and company. They are saying they had more freedom under Saddam than Bush. They are mad and I agree with them. No person on earth would stand for what the occupiers are doing to them, no one! They are not the bad guys, we are.

A wounded Iraqi girl is treated by U.S. marines in central Iraq March 29, 2003. Confused front line crossfire ripped apart an Iraqi family on Saturday after local soldiers appeared to force civilians towards U.S. marines positions. The four-year old girl, blood streaming from an eye wound, was screaming for her dead mother, while her father, shot in a leg, begged to be freed from the plastic wrist cuffs slapped on him by U.S. marines, so he could hug his other terrified daughter.   As the troops near Baghdad i can’t help but wonder what kind of “collateral damage” the heavy airstrikes and artillery barrages have done in Iraq, and refuse to blindly give my support for this insane war. front line crossfire ripped apart an Iraqi family on Saturday. This image of a four-year old girl, blood streaming from an eye wound, was screaming for her dead mother, that was killed in the crossfire. is this something to be proud of? does it make you feel patriotic? i sure hope that Bush went to some good Psychics and fortune tellers to make certain that Saddam planned to attack America, because if he’s wrong this preemptive strike is and still is killing innocent women and children. And when this war is over, the killing that Saddam Hussein committed will most likely pale in comparison to the death toll made by the coalition bombing. In my opinion not ONE United States soldier should be forced in to this misery and should be able to serve this country by defending it - not invading other countries for corporate global interests.

Ali Ismail Abbas, 12, wounded during an airstrike according to hospital sources, lies in a hospital bed in Baghdad, April 6, 2003. Abbas was fast asleep when war shattered his life. A missile obliterated his home and most of his family, leaving him orphaned, badly burned and blowing off both his arms. 'It was midnight when the missile fell on us. My father, my mother and my brother died. My mother was five months pregnant,' the traumatized boy told Reuters at Baghdad's Kindi hospital. 'Our neighbors pulled me out and brought me here. I was unconscious,' he said on Sunday. REUTERS/Faleh Kheiber

We as peace loving people need to do everything we can to end this war with Iraq. It is up to you and your friends to uphold the will of American justice, as just as demonstrators in recent weeks, tried to prevent more death, destruction, starvation and terrorization of the children and the civilians of Iraq. It is quite apparent that this deadly situation will create far more harm and terror for innocent people than would be or likely to be created by Saddam Hussein. From what I understand, this war in Iraq will create thousands of starving refugees. While this country has provided millions and billions of dollars to the military for the destruction of Iraq, there are only a few million allocated for food and shelter relief for thousands and possibly millions of displaced, war ravaged people. The casualties among civilians will be huge. All ready, according to News World International reports, "no fly zones" and other imposed sanctions from the Gulf War have helped to create shortages in food and medicine in that country. Even the destruction of so called "military" targets will create major problems for civilians. When electric generators are demolished by US bombs, sewerage treatment plants which depend on electricity will cease to operate. This will create an epidemic of dysentery that will affect many innocent people. I'm sure if someone were to witness the look of terror of an innocent child, if and were ever to hear their cries in the night as their houses and neighborhoods were being destroyed by thousand pound bombs you may realize how horrific this idea of war is. There is really no justification to invading Iraq considering also the fact that the people of Iraq have not attempted to wage war with our country. One person, Saddam Hussein, is not worth all the lives and suffering this will cost. So please let us stop this horrific war upon the innocent children of Iraq. e-mail Bush and your representatives every day!

Rome once transplanted its system of government at sword point. The U.S. is now intent on doing the same thing only it will use much more devastating force. Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of innocents will be dead before this is over and for what? Try getting casualty statistics for the Vietnam war from the internet. You'll find lots of specifics on every U.S. unit sorted by date and place. What is so much harder to find are statistics for civilian deaths even though they're 20 to 1 compared to military casualties. How many died from U.S. bombing in Cambodia and Laos? I'd really like to find out how many civilians have died at the hands of the U.S. military or their proxies over the last half century. This madness has to stop. -R.W.

this is a child in the early weeks of development that has been murdered.

I find this image of an aborted baby shockingly ironic. if you look closely the quarter reads the word “liberty”, this picture tells a story of a child conceived in America that was denied the liberty to live. who’s to blame? maybe she didn’t want anymore kids or it could be that child care costs a lot more then just having an abortion. what ever the case maybe we need to rethink what we as Americans are doing to our children. Many Christians in this country are just looking the other way, while the people of the USA walk slowly down the path of evil. Did this infant have a soul? i’m not sure. but i will say this: if we as adults have souls, then i am certain that this child did in fact possess a soul.  Along with bombing defenseless babies, abortion is a sick form of child abuse. and we need to stop the killing now.

"The voice of protest, of warning, of appeal is never more needed than when the clamor of fife and drum, echoed by the press and too often by the pulpit, is bidding all men fall in step and obey in silence the tyrannous word of command. Then, more than ever, it is the duty of the good citizen not to be silent." ~ Charles Eliot Norton, True Patriotism (1898)

Mad at France? Think about the American Revolutionary War. If France had not allied with the new American republic and Colonials in 1778, it's highly likely we (Americans) would still be kneeling to the British Crown.
